Thank you for choosing to book on line. We are an independant site so you will be asked for your name, address, and unit type details with your pitch choice to enable us to process your booking correctly. All bookings are for a minimum of 2 nights. At the end of the process you will be asked to pay a £25 deposit to secure the booking. You will need a credit or debit card for this. Please contact the site by telephone for the 7 nights for 5 low season offer, and for same or next day bookings.
When you have completed your booking we will check and confirm it by email soon after.

Lydford Site Terms and Conditions.
Our aim is to provide you with safe, peaceful and clean Caravanning & Camping in beautiful surroundings on a well managed to site.To acheive this we must make our terms and conditions clear, therefore please read on to ensure that the following meets your needs and expectations. We look forward to meeting you.
A booking made by you to stay at Lydford Caravan & Camping Park constitutes a commitment by you to honour that booking. A non returnable £25 deposit is required with every booking. If sufficient notice is given (min 7 days) the deposit may be held in credit for that season for an alternative booking, subject to availability.
We do not accept bookings for units towed by sign written or large commercial vehicles, large American type RV's or 5th wheel caravans, neither do we accept multiple bookings or large groups. Bookings will only be accepted from persons over the age of 18 years.
Arrival time on site is strictly between the hours of 12 noon and 7pm in low season and 8pm in mid and high season. We do not have a late / early arrivals area. All new arrivals must report to reception before entering the site and pay any balance owing. It is important to ensure that you have booked the correct pitch to fit your unit as mistakes may not always be rectifiable at the time of arrival.
We are a very peacful site and we ask that the site is quiet betwen the hours of 11pm and 7am however all noise should be kept to a minimum throughout the day, therefore please ensure that only you can hear you radio/television etc. We do not permit the use of generators at any time.
Your children are your responsibility and therefore expect you to ensure thier good behaviour at all times, ensuring that they do not cause disturbance or nuisance to others both on site and within our toilet facilites where we expect you to supervise them. We do not have playground equipment nor do we allow the use of kites, frisbies, hard ball games, any form of projectile, powered scooters or bikes, skateboards or blades, to be used on site. There is a recreation ground a short distance away, it does not have play equipment.
The site speed limit is 5mph (walking pace) on all parts of the site. Pedestrians always have right of way. Fully licensed drivers only may drive on site. There must be no vehicle movements on site between the hours of 11pm and 7am. There is parking and pedestrian only access off site.
There will always be at least 6m of clear space between each unit. One vehicle only per pitch is allowed and may be parked in the 6m space providing that it is at least 3m from the next unit.
Dogs and pets are welcomed on site. All must be controlled on a short lead (max 2m) at all times, on the whole site including the dog walk and site entrance area. All fouling must be cleared up at once and placed in the appropriate bins. You will be required to remove any noisy or nuisance dogs from the site permanently upon the managements request.
We allow charcoal or gas barbecues provided that they do not damage the site or grass and should be on a stand at least 12 inches off the ground. We do not allow open fires of any kind.We allow gazeboes and windbreaks providing they fit on your pitch and are dissamntled during windy weather and over night. We do not allow units to be fenced in or connected to another with these items. We allow small clothes dryers by your unit but do not allow ropes and lines between trees and units.
Visitors are strictly by advance booking only, in small numbers, between 10am and 6pm.. All visitors must leave by 6pm. Unexpected or evening visitors will be refused entry.
Although we take yours and units safety and security very seriously, we do not however accept reponsibilty for any loss or damage howsoever caused unless in the case of proveable negligence by the site management.
The site management reserves the right to request any person, or animal to be removed from the site if causing, nuisance or distress to others at time time day or night without refund of fees as it will be deemed that they are in violation of these terms and conditions.
