We are a caravan and camping site ideally located midway between the north and south coast of Devon and just a few miles from the border of Cornwall with many attractions, places of interest and beaches nearby.

About Us
Lydford Caravan & Camping Park is a private site affiliated to the Caravan Club. We welcome caravans, motorhomes, campervans, folding campers (max shipping length 8.5m) and tents. We offer hard standing or grass pitches with electric hook up plus a separate area for tents offering wonderful panoramic views of Dartmoor. There are also toilet and shower facilities with dedicated dishwashing, laundry, and a disabled toilet/shower wet room. Our small on site shop stocks a range of branded groceries, local ice creams and a small selection of camping items. We are licensed to sell beers, wines and spirits for consumption off the premises.
Local Attractions
Lydford has much of interest to offer, all within a short walk from the site. The spectacular National Trust Lydford Gorge is a 3.5 mile (5km) circular walk in the deepest gorge within the south of England. The Castle Inn pub. The Granite Way (Route 27, part of Devon coast to coast). 9 miles to Okehampton. There is a regular bus service to Tavistock and Okehampton from the stop just 100m from the site entrance. Timetables are available from reception. Lydford Castle, a 9th- century former prison and the ancient St Petroc’s Church are well worth a visit.
