Located midway between the north and south coast of Devon, just 4 miles from the Cornwall border, the site is ideal for exploring the many delights of the West Country.

The site is set in a beautiful and quiet location with stunning views of the high “Tors” of Dartmoor. We are the proud recipients of the David Bellamy Gold Award for excellence in countryside conservation on touring parks. We offer level hard standing or grass pitches with 16amp hook up, and a separate quiet dedicated area for tents only. We welcome Caravans, Motor Homes, maximum length 9 metres, and tents. We cannot accommodate American RV’s or 5^th wheel caravans. Included are centrally heated toilet, shower and disabled facilities, laundry, dishwashing, and Tourist Information. We have a small shop stocking daily essentials and newspapers to order. Digital Television reception is  good.

Well behaved dogs with responsible owners are very welcome.

 

Many local attractions are within easy walking distance of the site. Visit N.T. Lydford Gorge, Lydford Castle, Lydford Viaduct, historic Lydford Church and the village itself much of which is steeped in history. Tavistock to the south and Okehampton to the north are just 15 minutes drive, alternatively  cycle or walk to Okehampton on the traffic free Granite Way. A regular bus service runs just 100 metres from the site.  

 

The Castle Inn  and restaurant, plus fine dining Lydford House Hotel are a short stroll. There are many other good pubs and restaurants in the area.
