Just returned from our second visit to this lovely site. The owners and staff are so friendly and cant do enough to make your stay enjoyable. They all work tirelessly to ensure that this site is kept in a spotless tip top condition. The ladies washroom upgrade this year was a welcome surprise although it was great last year, so even better now.
This is the perfect dog friendly site to relax in. with peace and quiet to recharge the batteries. The location is perfect, beautiful views of the moors and within an easy walk to the local pub (The Castle) if you fancy an ale and a change of scenery. The bar is friendly but small with a nice buzz, serving a good selection of real ales, We also found the service, food and drinks at The Fox and Hounds ( about 2 miles for Site) to be of good quality and value for money.
All in all a lovely break away, THANK YOU Hazel, Ian and the Gang, see you all again soon.
We have recently returned from a 14 day holiday at this site and we had a lovely quiet relaxing time. The site is very well kept with clean toilet and shower facilities. The wardens are frindly and helpful and always smiling. Although we didn’t have the best of weather,(it rained nearly every day) we still enjoyed our break and saw some beautiful scenery on nearby Dartmoor. Well worth going here for a nice relaxing peaceful holiday.
